These 9 Fighters Have Been Kicked Out by UFC for Last 2 Years

UFC expelled a total of 9 fighters from the organization in the last two years. Not every fighter who gets kicked out has a bad record at the UFC.

Quoted from MMA Junkie, UFC continues to tighten its list of fighters. A number of fighters with bad records were dismissed and their contracts were not renewed.

In exchange, UFC will recruit fighters through the Dana Whites’s Contender Series event. In addition, the UFC also recruits fighters from other organizations, including Michael Chandler who was recruited from Bellator.

1. Aleksandra Albu (3-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC)

Albu had won two consecutive wins at UFC, but then lost streaks to Emily Whitmire and Loma Lookboonmee. This Russian fighter has not fought in the UFC since October 2019.

2. Ali Alqaisi (8-5 MMA, 0-2 UFC)

Alqaisi is the first fighter from Jordan to appear at the UFC. Unfortunately, Alqaisi’s action at UFC did not last long after swallowing two defeats.

3. Cyril Asker (9-4 MMA, 2-3 UFC)

This French fighter lost to Jared Cannonier, Walt Harris and Tai Tuivasa. Asker’s two wins came against Dmitry Smolyakov and Yaozong Hu.

4. Alex Chambers (5-5 MMA, 1-4 UFC)

This Australian female fighter has not appeared in UFC since September 2018. The only victory at UFC was won by Chambers when she won a submission over Kailin Curran at UFC 191, September 2015.

5.Chris De La Rocha (5-3 MMA, 1-3 UFC)

De La Rocha was last defeated by Juan Adams in December 2018. The only UFC victory was De La Rocha’s victory over Rashad Coulter at UFC 225, June 2018.

6.Syuri Kondo (6-3 MMA, 1-3 UFC)

Kondo had won in the UFC debut match when he beat Chan Mi Jeon. However, then three times in a row from Poliana Botelho, Xiaonan Yan, and Ashley Yoder. Kondo last fought at the UFC in June 2019.

7.Bojan Mihajlovic (10-6 MMA, 0-3 UFC)

Mihajlovic has never fought again at UFC after swallowing three successive defeats to Francis Ngannou, Joachim Christensen and Abdul-Kerim Edilov. The three defeats were obtained by Mihajlovic through TKO.

8.Suman Mokhtarian (8-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC)

Mokhtarian suffered two defeats at the UFC and sustained injuries. Finally, Mokhtarian reportedly will be recruited by the MMA organization from Japan, Rizin.

9. Dmitry Sosnovskiy (11-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC)

Sosnovskiy actually has an 11-0 record in MMA and his only fight at the UFC ended in a win over Mark Godbeer in March 2018. However, the UFC kicked Sosnovskiy out after being arrested for kidnapping and extortion charges.
